Creator Assertions Working Group
The Creator Assertions Working Group builds upon the work of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) by defining additional assertions that allow content creators to express individual and organizational intent about their content.

Contributing
As of March 2025, CAWG is a working group within the Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF). CAWG operates under a joint participation agreement, which means that contributions to the CAWG specifications and attendance at CAWG meetings are open to:

Signatories of CAWG’s previous operating agreement (Community Specification License) as of 1 February 2025
Participants from included organizations may join CAWG without additional fees, provided they sign DIF’s intellectual property rights agreement.

The Creator Assertions Working Group holds video meetings every other Monday at two times:
