Some questions were raised about whether the new guidance regarding finding the appropriate hard binding assertion should be replaced with guidance pointing to the ingredient assertion.

🎥 37'51": Andrew Dworschak presented several new proposals for enhancing the use of DIDs, VCs, and VPs in the identity assertion. There are five distinct proposals, which build on each other in roughly the following sequence:

  1. Reorganization of Verifiable Credential (VC)

  2. Verifiable Presentation (VP) Support

  3. Persistent IDs and Delegation (i.e. Identity Hooks)

  4. Claim Generator Attestations

  5. mDL Compatibility

This task force will carry on the discussion started in the 28 July 2025 (Agentic identity kickoff) meeting, which might be summarized as: How do we describe delegation and tool/agent identity in archival-quality terms?
